Art for a cause or a cause for Art? Is there an onus on artists to probe fault lines, social protocols and areas of discomfort, or to create art that encourages social change? What about art for art’s sake? Join this discussion to hear from a diverse panel of artists and activists who will come together to talk about the role of art and social change.
The panel, which includes craftivist Sayraphim Lothian, founder and CEO of L2R Jacinda Richards, disability and LGBTI rights activist Jax Jacki Brown, and actor Ian Michael, will be facilitated by writer and textile artist Heather Horrocks.
