BirdLife at West Projections Festival

“What happens if those birds don’t have freedom?” Artist Megan Hunter

As part of West Projections, the iconic Footscray rotunda will stage BirdLife, an ArtLife visual art performance dedicated to life cycles. Artists will explore the various moments in a bird’s life through shadows and light. BirdLife intends to present itself as a metaphor of freedom and breaking through the constant challenges of life.

BirdLife has been created by artists Alisha O’Neil, Andrew Bao, Jay Eusden, Megan Hunter, Robyn McGrath, Sarah Ellis, Steven Tran, and Victor Nunez.

WHEN: Artist walk Saturday 19 August, 6pm – 7pm.
VENUE:  Meet at Footscray Train Station,Hopkins St & Irving St, Footscray.
BirdLife will be at The Rotunda, Footscray Train Station.
COST: FREE

BirdLife is presented in partnership with FCAC’s ArtLife program, the inclusive creative arts studios at Footscray Community Arts Centre. ArtLife is supported by the Victorian government.
