Can Control Street Art for Adults – Term 4
Who says the kids have all the fun? Join this relaxed and hands on two-day workshop to learn aerosol graffiti techniques with street artist Searious Jones. How do you draw a straight line with spray paint? What nibs you need to use?
Working in a small group you’ll work on a collaborative piece of street art on the grounds of FCAC. All materials are supplied.

ABOUT FCAC TUTOR: Searious Jones
‘Stuff-maker’ Searious Jones is a prolific Melbourne based creative. Her portfolio of artwork and “stuff made” includes large scale graffiti murals, aerosol feature walls, one-off painted vehicles, 3D installations, ‘traditional’ brush painted canvas and ink splattered narratives. Utilising found, repurposed and recycled objects as a canvas or backdrop, she layers images, text and pattern. She alternates between clean, bold lined, iconic graphic symbolism and soft edged, smoothly shaded monochrome portraits of anonymously familiar characters. The artist paints a biography of commonly shared, tales and adventures – both physical and spiritual.
