Beginner and Intermediate figurative painting workshop
Figurative painting workshop with limited palette
This intensive class is designed for students at all levels that are interested in exploring figurative painting. Students will learn the fundamentals of the human figure, how to create form and deal with colour, tones and temperature of skin. This is the perfect short course to learn how to paint people and overcome frustration. Ignacio will break the process down steps-by-step using a traditional approach with modern materials.
Materials will be supplied and life model supplied.

Born in Chile in 1978, Ignacio Rojas migrated to Australia in 2001 and moved to San Francisco in June 2016. Ignacio has taught drawing and painting for many years and has run diverse classes – from beginner classes to intermediate and advance students as well as professional artists looking for specific skills.
He has exhibited in more than thirty solo and group exhibitions as well as being a finalist in numerous art competitions in Australia. He has also worked in socially inclusive artistic programs as well as a research assistant and project officer at numerous univerisites including at RMIT University, Victoria University and The University of Melbourne. Ignacio participated in FCAC’s Emerging Cultural Leaders program in 2015 with his project exhibiting in their Rosyln Smorgon Gallery.
