Kids’ Animation, Introduction – Term 2
Learn how to build your very own characters and bring them to life via the wonderful world of stop-motion animation. You’ll also explore other stop motion techniques such as ‘pixelation’.
Workshop suitable for participants seeking an introduction to animation.
WHEN: Wednesdays, 18 April – 13 June, 4:30pm – 6pm
AGES: 6 – 12 years
COST: $170 per term (8 sessions)
Please note: Due to the Victorian public holiday, there will be no session on Wednesday 25 April.

About FCAC Tutor: Christie Widiarto
Christie Widiarto is a freelance artist and animator based in Melbourne. Her work has focused on storytelling through the exploration of the themes of cultural identity, family and nature. Her work involves experimenting with combining traditional art techniques and digital technology. She also enjoys collaborating with other artists to create engaging multimedia content. Two years ago, she started working in community arts with various youth groups and found that she loved it. She has continued to work with communities to this day. Her experience with communities has been primarily through animation workshops incorporating photography, video and new media.
