About FCAC Tutor: Emily Ross
Emily’s love of all things circus began with a small community based circus in the Dandenong Ranges where she explored acrobalance, stilts, tumbling, performance and juggling. Moving to Melbourne in 2003 to study Community Development she was excited to join the Women’s Circus and has trained and performed with the organisation over many years. She has also performed in Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe as a member of Shifting Light Collective’s show Suspended Shorts. Emily’s favourite circus activity is acrobalance, but she also loves juggling, hoops, devil sticks, aerials, and a wide variety of other circus skills too! She has been teaching circus for over 10 years at a variety of places including Women’s Circus, Footscray Community Arts Centre, and Westside Circus.
