A 3,000 year old Indian tradition is performed on stage in 21st century Australia. Raina Peterson and Govind Pillai, children of the vast Indian diaspora, poke at the edges of tradition and kick up the ashes of history.

Trained in the classical Indian dance forms of Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam, Raina and Govind ask: “What really is tradition?” and break it down for you – in plain Sanskrit.
