PORTable Container: Art Voyages in Public Spaces
FCAC’s portable shipping container is on the move! As part of Hobsons Bay City Council’s Art in Public Spaces Program, FCAC has joined forces with Mesh Mash and The Substation, to offer a series of free creative participatory workshops in art and performance.

Celeste Potter Vs Mesh Mash at Harrington Square
Lining up in the Mesh Mash jerseys to take on the visitors are Mesh Mash Foundation Crew members, Beaza Worcou and Ashlea Hoenig. Both hailing form the western suburbs, Beaza and Ashlea are design artists at the start of their careers. www.meshmashdesign.com.au. Check out Celeste’s illustration reel at www.celestepotter.com and then come and create art in public with her and Mesh Mash in a shipping container in Harrington Square.

Plastic Loaves Vs Mesh Mash at The Substation
Lead by Zarnie Morcombe, The Plastic Loaves practice spreads over innumerable creative areas including curation, graphic design, art direction, fashion design, painting, video and typography.

Drasko Boljevic VS Mesh Mash VS The Indirect Object at Central Square
Drasko Boljevic is an urban artist living in Melbourne. Drasko has been dedicated to exploring different techniques in his endeavour to produce exciting and vibrant works from path mapping to projections, installation and the creation of 3D illusion spaces and he has some big plans for Central Square. draskoboljevic.com

The indirect Object Vs Mesh Mash at Woods and Lohse Street
The indirect Object is an award-winning puppetry and experimental arts group, with projects ranging from live art object theatre, interpretive puzzle rooms, giant roving puppets, and exploratory workshops.
WHEN: Wednesday 27 September 2pm – 5pm, Thursday 28 September 3pm – 8pm
VENUE: Woods and Lohse Street Reserve, Laverton (opposite train station).
