Raspberry Ripple Reads
Raspberry Ripple Reads is a play-reading event from new disability led theatre company Raspberry Ripple. In Love Child, a play by Joanna Murray-Smith, an adopted daughter comes to find her biological mother. In this version she is a wheelchair user. Without altering the text, we will discover what happens underneath the lines. The addition of disability offers new provocation and the possibility for new interpretation. What will happen?
Performed by Kate Hood and Alisha Eddy and directed by Alice Darling.
WHEN: Sunday 8 October, 2pm – 4pm
VENUE: FCAC Performance Space
COST: Full $15 / Concession $10
Presented in partnership with Raspberry Ripple as part of FCAC’s Company in Residence program.
