Talkin’ Pictures Film Makers Workshops

Are you an Indigenous young person aged 12 – 25? Passionate about films?
Make your own short film shot locally and to be screened at the Talkin’ Pictures Film Festival this NAIDOC week.

To celebrate Talkin’ Pictures Film Festival FCAC, with Open Channel and Melbourne
Community Indigenous Film Collective, are running a free two day workshop for young aspiring Indigenous film makers.

Discover the tricks and skills of basic film making and then form a film crew and make your own short film using iPads and smart phones for screening at the Talkin’ Pictures Film Festival.

Learning from experienced filmmakers, as well as celebrated cinematographer Allan Collins (Beneath Clouds, Mad Bastards), by the end of two days you will have new skills in Directing, Editing, Storyboards, Camera Grip, Sound, Lighting and Producing.
