Extreme Arts: Theatre Intensive ‘LACUNA’
Join creators of Line Dance – Ana Rita Pires and Alexandra Harrison – as they collaborate with Mito Elias in a week of theatre-making for young performers, artists and musicians.
On an empty sea of white paper we follow playful trails and serious coordinates creating a performance archipelago of sound, charcoal, movement and mess. From humble beginnings, our marks and movements shyly accumulate until our gestures develop their own boldness. We grow braver – and dirtier – as the LACUNA fills and performance emerges. Wilder and stranger than we ever imagined.
Suitable for children aged between 6 – 12 years.
The performance will be on Thursday 23 January at 2:30pm. Friends and extended family are welcome.
