Wominjeka Festival 2019: Riverside Camp

Overview

Surrounded by the gentle flow of the Maribyrnong; story, song and ceremony come together as we gather at the banks to celebrate. River Camp starts with ceremony led by N’arweet Carolyn Briggs, leading into a night of storytelling and music by Brett LeeRobert K Champion and Maylene Slater Burns. Combining projections with acoustic melodies and storytelling, Wominjeka 2019 will not close with a bang, but rather a whisper.
