Experience the beauty of Hawaii through one of the most revered cultural aspects of Hawaiian culture, hula. Noelani Le Nevez, a professional hula dancer and proud kanaka maoli (native Hawaiian) who now resides in Melbourne, continues to learn and share the stories and traditions of her ancestors while living far from her home.
Hula celebrates the beauty of the islands, the connection to nature and it cultivates the Aloha spirit — the spirit of love — within each us. Participants will learn basic steps and arm movements put together to form a short choreographed dance. E Hula Mai – Come Let’s Hula!
