Director and CEO News

After five years at the helm, Jade Lillie, will be concluding her time as Footscray Community Arts Centre’s Director and CEO at the end of November this year.

During Jade’s tenure as Director and CEO, FCAC has enjoyed great success, particularly in securing four year operational funding at both state and federal levels in 2016. Through a dynamic community-engaged creative and cultural program overseen by Jade, FCAC has seen visitor attendance grow by more than 10,000 people per year and annual turnover grow by 37% since 2012.

These successes will ensure FCAC will continue to operate from a stable base, and towards the goals of our Strategic Plan to 2020, while the new Director and CEO establishes themselves in the role.

‘Jade has been an exceptional Director and CEO, leading the organisation through some significant changes to the arts sector and maintaining a steady hand throughout. Her passion and commitment to community-engaged contemporary arts practice will have an impact on our staff, artists and communities for some time to come,’ said FCAC Chair, Jason Rostant.

The appointment of the Director and CEO is being led by the FCAC Board.
