PORTable Container

Presented as a partnership between Port of Melbourne Corporation and Footscray Community Arts Centre, the PORTable Container Project, has seen a 6.05m shipping container, donated by Maribyrnong City Council, fitted out as a mobile art studio, designed to accommodate exhibitions, performances and workshops, and facilitate engagement for local artists in Melbourne’s west.

Themed on local and international navigations, Footscray Community Arts Centre’s PORTable Container will offer creative opportunities for communities to engage in artistic programs and presentations across Melbourne’s west and beyond.
