Emerging Cultural Leaders 2015

Hiroki Kobayashi

Hiroki Kobayashi recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre studies at The University of Melbourne and was a participant in Playwriting Australia’s Lotus Asian-Australian Playwriting Project. In the past he has devised and performed in productions at Melbourne University, created performance installations for Inca Roads and Paradise Music Festival and produced and presented arts based programming for SYN FM. He has also undertaken a communications internship with TimeLine Theatre Company in the US and worked as a development assistant at Malthouse Theatre.

Hiroki is excited to be part of the Emerging Cultural Leaders program in 2015 and hopes to explore new ways to participate in a more community engaged theatre practice.
