Acting Up: Drama – Term 1 & 2

Overview

For children who love to ‘act up’ on stage! These kids’ drama classes use improvisation, theatre games, costumes and performance to bring out your child’s confidence, while teaching them team building skills. A fun and social way to give your kids the creative freedom to express themselves through the art of theatre.  

WHEN: Tuesdays, 4pm – 5pm (5 – 8 yrs) and 5.15pm – 6.15pm (9 – 12 yrs)
Term 1:
4 February – 24 March 
Term 2: 21 April – 9 June
AGES: 5 – 12 years
VENUE: FCAC Basement Theatre
COST: $135 (8 sessions)

About FCAC Tutor: Hayley Lawson

Hayley made her acting debut as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at age 8. The stage has been her passion ever since. After studying Dramatic Arts at Taranaki School of Drama in New Zealand, she then went on to study Bachelor of Theatre Arts at La Trobe University in Melbourne. Hayley worked for Helen OGrady’s Drama Academy as a drama tutor and also runs her own children’s theatre group DramaworX.


Presented as part of FCAC’s Arts Learning program.
