FCAC Toddler Jam!

FCAC Toddler Jam!— learning through music—is now FREE and online each week. Our tutor Razz, a long-time member of the FCAC community, is highly skilled in getting toddlers active and learning through play, with a mixture of percussion, singing, dancing, story-time and mindfulness.

Connect with the FCAC community in a class, essentially designed to be enjoyed with your toddlers, but absolutely available to enthral your toddler while you get other stuff done! Razz’ music selection is fresh and fun so big people can get down too.

Along with a love of children’s literature, Razz’ deep belief that children can appreciate diverse and sophisticated music sets these classes apart.

These workshop are free but registrations are essential.

WHEN: Wednesdays, 14 October to 16 December, 10am-10:45am
WHERE: Online via zoom
COST: Free

FCAC is seriously invested in supporting our community during this difficult time which is why all workshop fees have been heavily reduced for online delivery.

Important information for workshop attendees:

  • You will receive an email with workshop information including the link to our Zoom session, 1 week ahead of the class date.

About the Teaching Artist

Razz is a performer, musician and passionate curator of arts experiences for pre-school and primary school aged children.

In 2009, while touring nationally with children’s band The Mighty bUZZniks, Razz began designing and running Music for Toddlers at FCAC. Her mission is to immerse children in a world of fascinating music, not only unpatronising for them, but even enjoyable for adults! With a profound love of children’s literature, Razz has recently begun to incorporate story telling in her toddler classes.

Razz also has many years of experience delivering music workshops for the School Holiday Arts Program at FCAC, and Yarraville Special Development School.

Since 2018 Razz has rocked the ‘family disco’ world, setting dance floors ablaze as DJ RazzBerry Berét!

Equipped with a Bachelor of Music from Melbourne Polytechnic, and a Diploma of Public Art from RMIT, Razz believes in what art and music can bring to community, and what community can bring to life.

Presented as part of FCAC’s Creative Workshops Program.
