Laneous (with live band)
From Kafka to Kooii, Laneous and The Family Yah to Vulture St Tape Gang, West End’s prodigal son LANEOUS has made his long-awaited return to the stage to reclaim his front-man throne. After relocating to Melbourne in 2016, the world-class guitarist, vocalist, composer and visual artist, leapt to action when he was offered a stage at the pending Strawberry Fields festival. Excited to create new music with LANEOUS, Paul Bender and Simon Mavin of Hiatus Kaiyote came on board, joined by Donny Stewart (Jazz Party) on vibraphone and flugelhorn and Hudson Whitlock (The Cactus Channel) on drums. After selling out the Melbourne launch of the debut single, the band was invited to headline Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM x Northside Records live Melbourne broadcast. Set for release via Soul Has No Tempo in May 2019, LANEOUS’ solo debut record Monstera Deliciosa drops May 10th via Soul Has No Tempo.

Rara Zulu
South African born Melbourne-based vocalist Rara Zulu is raw and vulnerable. Her sound, influenced by soul/R’nB/hip-hop is brought to life by a band made up of some of Melbourne’s finest musicians and her closest friends. Currently working with bands such as Elle Shimada, 30/70, Messy Mammals and Rat Child, Rara’s sole project stands out as one of the pioneers of a fresh sound.

Good Luck Omen
Good Luck Omen is comprised of honey dipped vocalist Kalala and guitar virtuoso Diego Villalta. The Narrm (Melbourne) duo brings a lustrous melding of potent soul, jazz and refined RnB originals. Formed in late 2018, the two have already established a sound that truly demands to be experienced live.

DJ Lady Erica
Lady Erica commenced her career as DJ Venus on UK pirate radio station Fantasy FM. Moving to Melbourne, Lady Erica established Australia’s longest running weekly UK Garage night at the Double O. She also brought the British pirate style over the airwaves on 3RRR FM every Saturday on Underground Flavas. A true pioneer and ahead of her time – for over a quarter of a century Lady Erica has played a pivotal role in Australia’s underground dance music scene. Lady Erica can be heard playing anything from UK Garage, UK Bass, Grime, Dubstep, Disco, US House, Acid House, Rave & Hardcore, Jungle, Funk, Reggae, Lovers and Dub. A quiet achiever – she gives the crowd what they want, to go off and lose themselves in the music, in her own inimitable style.
