Workshops for Kids and Young People

Kids’ Circus Club Online!

Overview

Experienced circus performer and much-loved FCAC teacher, Franca Stadler, will improve kids’ strength, flexibility and confidence. Delivered online, these workshops are designed to get kids up and moving, whilst building new skills. Franca creates a welcoming and non-competitive environment; she has been running online workshops since May and has mastered the art! Everyone is welcome—come and join the circus club!

WHEN: Thursdays, 15 October – 3 December , 4pm-5pm
WHERE: Online via zoom
COST: $80 per term (8 Sessions) or $15 per session (1 Session)

TICKETS STRICTLY LIMITED; BOOK NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

FCAC is seriously invested in supporting our community during this difficult time which is why all workshop fees have been heavily reduced for online delivery.

Important information for parents:

  • You will receive an email with workshop information including the link to our Zoom session, 1 week ahead of the class date.
  • You will also need access to a computer device or tablet with internet connection and ‘https://zoom.us/’ downloaded (free), prior to the session.
  • FCAC has a strong commitment to child safety. We will send out a code of conduct one week prior to the session and you can find out more in our terms and conditions.
  • If you have more than one child in the same session, only the registered participant can interact with the facilitators. If you have more than two children using the same device, we strongly encourage you to register with a separate device so as to maintain quality delivery.

About the Teaching Artist

FRANCA STADLER

Since immigrating to Melbourne from Switzerland 18 years ago, Franca has worked in all areas of live theatre and performance, predominantly with circus, specialising in rigging, rigging design, theatre technician, prop making, circus trainer, circus performer and safety officer. In my role as a rigger, rigging designer, prop maker, performer and trainer. Franca has had the pleasure of working on over 70 productions with many Companies and Organisations.
For over a decade Franca has been the Women’s Circus in-house trainer and specialises in teaching the New Women’s Program, basic aerials, acrobalance and experimental aerials.


Presented as part of FCAC’s Creative Workshops Program.
