Theatre and Film Essentials for Teenagers (Free)

Drama Classes for Teenagers

Introducing FCAC’s drama classes for teenagers! In a year where many secondary students have missed important class and performance time with peers, we want to offer a special community. One where you can receive professional and constructive feedback on everything about production: acting, filming, costume and even set design! These classes are for every teenager who wants to explore their stage and screen skills with an experienced and passionate tutor and a small class of peers. Come and try an online acting classes for free! Our tutor Hayley will take you through exercises ranging from meaningful to plain silly. You’ll try character work, use of camera and improvisation, all exploring the theme “This is me!” A celebration of the imagination and self.

Strictly limited places, book your FREE ticket early to avoid disappointment.

FCAC is seriously invested in supporting our community during this difficult time which is why all workshop fees have been heavily reduced for online delivery.

Important information for parents:

  • You will receive an email with workshop information including a basic materials list and the link to our Zoom session, 1 week ahead of the class date. All materials will be basic stationary/supermarket items and materials commonly found around the house.
  • Your child will also need access to a computer device or tablet with internet connection and ‘https://zoom.us/’ downloaded (free), prior to the session.
  • FCAC has a strong commitment to child safety. We will send out a code of conduct one week prior to the session and you can find out more in our terms and conditions.
  • If you have more than one child in the same session, only the registered participant can interact with the facilitators. If you have more than two children using the same device, we strongly encourage you to register with a separate device so as to maintain quality delivery.
