Time Out Talks: The Gentrification of Footscray

Overview

Time Out Talks: The Gentrification of Footscray

The G WORD (gentrification) is often bandied about in water cooler and watering hole conversations about Melbourne’s west. In partnership with Time Out Melbourne, FCAC presents a panel discussion featuring members of the local Footscray creative, sporting and business community, to explore the impact of this change on artists and residents. Join in the discussion by submitting your question when you purchase a ticket.

Panelists include:

Santilla Chingaipe (Filmmaker and Journalist)
Isabel Huntington (AFL Women’s Western Bulldogs player)
Steven Kimonides (Burn City Test Kitchen)
Alan Pert (The University of Melbourne)
and Sonia Nair as moderator (Writer, Whatever Floats Your Bloat)
