Meet the Artists:
Achut Thuc
Achut Thuc is a Sudanese/South Sudanese emerging writer. She realised her love of poetry/stories in 5th grade thus started exploring writing eversince. Her work has been featured in the fringe, Melbourne spoken word festival and MWF. She writes on a range of issues; identity, racism, mental illness, relationships and healing. She is a proud member of Footscrary Community Arts Centre’s West Writers group.
Tiyami Pa’gan Amum
Tiyami Pa’gan Amum is South Sudanese writer and storyteller creating and living in Melbourne. Her works offer a reflection on faith, transformation and the relationships that make us whole.
