EXPRESSION OF INTEREST / CALL OUT TO INDIGENOUS ARTISTS & COMMUNITY
Imaginary Spears is a model for public debate and live performance responding to the issues that matter to you. This Creative Development is directly informed by local community voices with creative responses performed throughout. Participants are invited to provide feedback on the topics and this model for public discourse.
This first event will debate constitutional recognition.
We are looking for artists / community who would like to be involved in collaborating and creating rapid response live & political performances, that act as conversation starters, discussion rousers and issues to debate, around constitutional recognition!
Poets, singers, dancers, actors, writers, musicians, visual artists, anyone with an idea and an opinion: we want you!
Tuesday 15 September, 6pm – 9pm Basement Theatre: Artist meet & greet / discussion
Wednesday 16 September, 10am – 4pm Performance Space: Creative Development
Monday 21 September, 10am – 4pm Performance Space: Creative Development
Tuesday 22 September, 6pm – 8pm Performance Space: Creative Development Showing
