Marketing and Communications Manager (Maternity Leave)

Footscray Community Arts Centre is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager in a maternity leave capacity.

An fast-paced and varied position, this is an exciting opportunity for passionate arts marketers with a love for communications, audience development and working with community.

Applicants with five of more years of management experience in marketing and communications, arts or community with a strong record of developing effective marketing and communications strategies for audience development should apply.

This is a significant and key leadership position at Footscray Community Arts Centre. The successful applicant will be a member of the Executive Management Team.

This is a fixed-term position of 8 months with the possibility of a 4 month extension (12 months in total). A probation period applies.

Application Process

Please submit a CV with two references and short Expression of Interest (1 – 2 pages) outlining your interest in the role.

Please ensure your EOI outlines the following:

  • What interests you in working with Footscray Community Arts Centre.
  • Your experience managing the marketing and communications for a medium-sized arts organisation, preferably in a community context.
  • Your experience developing and managing effective marketing budgets and managing interns and part-time staff or suppliers.
  • Your skills and experience using the following tools: InDesign, WordPress, social media and Salesforce.
