Our Board
We operate with a dual governance structure: Board and the Indigenous Advisory Group.
Consisting of the communities we centre, and allies, the Board is appointed by Members and Life Members. These members, alumni of past and present Footscray Community Arts leaders, community members and the Indigenous Advisory Group, ensure that our communities’ voices are prioritised and represented at this level.
Our Board not only sets our strategic direction and ensures governance oversight, but also actively meets compliance obligations as a charity limited by guarantee.
We also offer pathways into governance through the Board Observership program, with a focus on offering this opportunity to the communities we work with.
