ABOUT
Future Reset: Diasporic Dreaming is a project funded by VicHealth and created in 2022. It’s a collaboration between Footscray Community Arts and Next In Colour, aiming to support young people from African Diaspora communities.
This event marks the closing of Diasporic Dreaming, and the official launch of the Research Zine: Re-imaging Utopias. It is a celebration of the project’s achievements, featuring a discussion on themes such as self-determination, community agency, and decolonised systems. The gathering aims to highlight the positive impact of community-led initiatives and showcase the creative work of young people from African Diaspora communities
