Footscray Community Arts exists to support artists and communities to shape culture on their own terms. Our partnerships play an important role in how we do this, and we work with supporters who share our commitment to equity, care and cultural leadership.

Our partnerships are grounded in four core values:

Taking action to advocate for and stand alongside communities we centre, amplifying voices and working to dismantle systemic barriers within the creative industries.

In practice, this means we seek partnerships that actively support these values — and we do not align with individuals or organisations whose activities or public positions undermine them. This includes, but is not limited to, racism or discrimination of any kind; harm or violence towards communities (including through arms manufacturing); vilification, pro-war or pro-violence positions; unethical labour practices; or involvement in fossil fuels, live animal exports or deforestation.
 
We believe values-aligned partnerships build trust, strengthen impact and help ensure the arts remain a space where creativity, accountability and community care go hand in hand. We welcome supporters who share these commitments and want to be part of a cultural organisation that leads with integrity.
