Allie Stapleton

Allie Stapleton is an arts administrator with over 15 years experience in the arts and culture industries in Australia and the UK. She began her career in independent theatre as a director and writer, before moving into frontline management in ticketing and front of house. She has worked for a wide variety of organisations, from commercial theatre companies to not-for-profits, from museums to festivals, before taking a break from the itinerant life and settling down in Melbourne in 2015. Most recently,  she was Company Administrator at Malthouse Theatre, where she supported the board and executive with strategy implementation, human resources management, and business administration after completing an MBA at Melbourne Business School. A proud disabled, queer woman, Allie is passionate about people and culture development, new work, and the advancement of equity and accessibility in the Australian arts and cultural industries. When not at the theatre or in a bookshop, she can be found working in her garden, or bushwalking with her dog Benny.
