Ibby Ibrahim

A prolific photographer, illustrator and origami-maker, Ibby Ibrahim uses well-known superheroes to tell stories which reflect his perspectives on social movements. Working across paper craft, digital illustration and collage, Ibby has exhibited work in group shows at Footscray Community Arts, such as How About a Rainbow (2017)The Connected Vision Collection (2018) and Heart (2019), as well as VISABILITY (2019) at Wyndham Art GalleryIbby‘s first solo exhibition, IBBYMAN (2015) at Footscray Community Arts was about being deaf and Sudanese living in Australia. His most recent work is about Black Lives Matter.

Ibby is an ArtLife Artist-in-Residence.
