Sue E Armstrong

Sue E Armstrong is a Melbourne-based political and abstract artist whose practice centers on themes of equality, activism, and social change. Deeply rooted in feminist, her earlier collage works explored visual symbols of feminism, layering meaning through texture, imagery, and form. Currently, Armstrong is expanding her practice into the tactile realm, working with clay and textiles to create inclusive, touchable sculptures that invite connection beyond the visual, making art accessible to a broader audience. Her work is both a creative expression and a call to action, aimed at bettering the world through conscious, inclusive art-making.
