Let’s Dance: African Drumming and Dance!
Saturdays 10:30—11:15am
Term 4: 14 October—9 December 2023
Join Fred, a Ghanaian master dancer, drummer and musician as you learn the basics of African Drumming, dance and song. Fred is a masterful storyteller and performer, who will get kids moving, singing and banging to new beats. Fred has taught kid’s drumming workshops for years and when he is not teaching he is performing with his Afro-fusion band, One Spirit Africa. This is a high energy workshop and a fun way to learn about Ghanaian culture and traditions.
Suitable for children 8–12 years old.

Fred Nii Addo is my name, and I am a Ghanaian master dancer, drummer and musician based in Melbourne Australia. I run One Spirit Africa, is a multicultural, Afro-fusion band offering high-energy performances, original tunes, vibrant costumes and good vibes.
