Event Information
Open Studios is an ideal way of sustaining your art practice and connecting with a community of artists. Facilitated by professional artist Darien Pullen, this course is designed for budding and advanced artists and art students who are looking for the opportunity to expand their creative practice and artist network. You will get to work with mentorship as well as an art community to inspire creative ideas, learn new techniques and enhance your individual interests.
Whether your project is still in the brainstorming phase, just getting started or almost completed. Darien’s comprehensive knowledge will guide you across all mediums and provide advice for sustaining your creative practice while enjoying your time and space to make art.

Meet the Artists

Darien Pullen
Darien Pullen is a professional Melbourne-based artist with over 30 years of exhibiting and teaching experience. His work includes drawing, printmaking, painting and sculpture, all developed from observational studies, and mostly of the human body.
Darien’s work has been described as ‘sensitive and well observed’ with ‘a skilled drawing ability and subtle use of colour’.
