What is the NDIS?

The NDIS provides funding to Australians aged under 65, who have permanent and significant disability, including intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychological disability. The NDIS is designed for people with disability access services that they choose. This can include artistic programs.

How can I use my NDIS funds at Footscray Community Arts?

NDIS participants can use Core and Capacity Building Supports to participate in our ArtLife programs. The funds are used to pay for direct support to engage in these activities. NDIS funds DO NOT cover the cost of materials, event tickets, festival tickets, performance tickets or food and beverages. These must be paid separately using your own money.

What services are available for different kinds of NDIS Supports?
