Jamie Rawls

A Melbourne-based arts practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the disability and community arts sector, Jamie’s multidisciplinary approach and Art Therapy background informs her collaborative projects. Her practice brings together diverse artists of all ages to create collaborative works through meaningful exchange. Jamie has facilitated community arts projects and workshops at Footscray Community Arts that provide opportunities for skill development – using the language of art as a tool for social change.

Jamie is currently the facilitating artist for the ArtLife residency program. She delivers workshops with an emphasis on social enterprise, creating pathways for artists to expand employment opportunities through their practice. Passionate about inclusivity and accessibility, her philosophy is ‘Art is for everyone’.
