Jeevika Rajagopal

Jeevika is a multimedia & communications specialist and video/projection artist who uses digital storytelling to explore identity and belonging. Known for her innovative approach to creating vibrant visuals, under her moniker ‘nomadicstatic’ she has collaborated with performers, musicians and creators of various disciplines. A familiar face around town, she is regularly involved in local events, using her imagery to elevate and activate spaces. Her approach to visual storytelling style is as versatile as it is distinctive.

Locally, she has worked as a projection artist for events including Rising, Strawberry Fields, Wide Open Space, Melbourne Music Week, HRAFF and Melbourne International Jazz Fest, among others.

Alongside her creative pursuits Jeevika is also a workshop facilitator, specialising in teaching basic cinematography, lighting and video postproduction techniques. She has run workshops in several all-abilities, multicultural and indigenous communities. With qualifications in both Multimedia and Communications, her previous roles include: marketing and digital engagement officer at an international data analytics agency, and research analyst at a local research agency, specialising in cx insights and creative ways to present data.
