Naomi Oakley

Naomi (Gamilaroi) is a musician and specialist in Indigenous education, focusing on mentoring, scholarships, facilitation, training, and events.

She has worked with Indigenous community and national organisations, dedicated to empowering Indigenous people through knowledge and employment across all age groups. Naomi consistently leads with a strong cultural and community focus in all her endeavours.

Naomi performs with a variety of Naarm/Melbourne based bands. She has played at venues and events ranging from the Thornbury Local to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Port Fairy Folk Festival.

Naomi holds a Bachelor of Contemporary Performance from AIM and a Master of Teaching from Unimelb.
