Dan Wei
A Chinese-Australian artist who finally got confident in her name Dan, which means peony instead of a male Australian name. A schoolteacher turned new media artist who trained in New York City; Dan loves making interactive playful installation for kids and kids at heart. She returns to Melbourne this year to develop her first performance art piece, sharing her personal story and exploring the common theme of lost and found love and connection. She loves creating projects where technology, science and art meet and encourages participants to learn through playing.
