Michelle Graham

Michelle currently works with school communities supporting young people to explore educational opportunities available
a er secondary school. Her background is in education, working alongside communities and organisations to support access to education and lifelong learning.

Michelle is currently undertaking a Master in Regional Education and Community Development and is participating in the Emerging Cultural Leaders program as the first Emerging Researcher. Michelle seeks to incorporate the knowledge and experience gained through participating in ECL into her work with young people in her community.

Michelle 2014 ECL Project:
As part of my upcoming ECL project and under the guidance of ECL mentor Jade Lillie, I seek to undertake collaborative and participatory research that aims to explore the value of informal (non-accredited) community programs (such as ELC) in peoples’ lives. This research project acknowledges the challenges around researching ‘value’ and will utilise creative research approaches
