ArtLife Residency

ArtLife Residency program is for ArtLife Studio artists who have demonstrated their dedication to developing a professional arts practice. Artists in Residence in the Artlife Residency program are provided individual creative development support by Artistic Facilitators and Producers to work towards an ambitious and high-impact public project.

If you have completed at least 12 months of Skills Development Workshops, you are eligible to submit an Expression of Interest for this residency program.

Emily Dober

Emily Dober is a painter and illustrator whose figurative works centre on the female form as portrayed in magazines and advertisements.

Thomas Miller

Thomas is a contemporary surrealist artist with a degree in industrial design.

Ibby Ibrahim

A prolific photographer, illustrator and origami-maker, Ibby Ibrahim uses well-known superheroes to tell stories which reflect his perspectives on social movements.

Diego Pizarro

Diego Pizarro is a visual artist who is influenced by comics and popular culture.

Steven Tran

A visual artist and dancer, Steven Tran has been creating work through Footscray Community Arts’ ArtLife program since 2013.

Megan Hunter

A visual and sound artist, Megan Hunter’s work explores her connection to local wildlife and the climate crisis.
